World Patient Safety Day 17 September 2019
The World Patient Safety Day helped patients to be more aware and engaged in their own care. We raised awareness among policy makers, health-care leaders, health workers and other key stakeholders of the need to formulate policies, create a work culture, and provide care where the safety of patients is a priority.
OBJECTIVES:
- The outcome of World Patient Safety Day will be that all stakeholders prioritize and show their commitment to patient safety;
- To generate demands for strong leadership for patient safety
TARGET:
- Patient organizations, professional associations, and educational institutions;
- Patients, families, caregivers, communities;
- Health workers, health-care leaders, doctors, and young specialists and policy makers;
- Health Journalists;
- Health Institutions.
